FAQs

How does the extractor fans work?

The fans we used have been specially designed to control the level of moisture in the rooms they are installed in. They run constantly at an extraction rate between 8 - 14 litres per second on trickle speed. With increases in moisture content the fan speed will increase automatically (moisture tracking). The bathroom and kitchen fans have two additional speeds of 30 and 60 litres per second which enable rapid removal of moisture and odours removing moisture from moisture producing areas stops condensation affecting other rooms.

Do the units need servicing?

Yes, the units we install will need to be serviced. The extractor fans in the bathroom and kitchen will need to be serviced every 12-18 months and the input ventilation units will need to be serviced every 5 years. The whole house heat recovery units need to be serviced every 12 months to obtain optimum usage.

How long does it take to install the ventilation equipment?

We always aim to complete all works within the same day, but if it is a larger job or we have an issue then it may take a little longer.
